Regional Cooperation and Collaboration with Referring Facilities

While providing specialized treatment centered on interventional radiology (IVR),
our clinic works closely with local medical institutions and referring facilities to build the medical care system best suited to each patient.

Main Areas of Collaboration

  • Inpatient Treatment and Systemic Management

When same-day treatment is difficult or careful follow-up observation is required, inpatient care is provided at an affiliated medical institution.

  • Perioperative Management

In cases requiring anesthesia management or involving a high risk of complications, we work with general hospitals to provide treatment with careful attention to safety.

  • Collaboration with Multiple Specialties

We develop treatment plans in collaboration with specialists in other fields as needed, including surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, medical oncology, orthopedics, and radiation oncology.

Main Affiliated Medical Institutions

Incorporating the latest knowledge from Japan and abroad, our clinic has built a collaborative care system — centered on Meiwa Hospital and including Osaka University Hospital, Kobe University Hospital, other general hospitals, local medical institutions, and academic societies and research groups — so that we can provide appropriate medical care to our patients.

Referrals and Counter-Referrals

Many of our patients are referred to us by other medical institutions, and we provide care in close cooperation with their attending physicians. At the same time, we also respond to inquiries and requests for consultation directly from patients and their families.
In such cases as well, we ask that information about previous treatment and the referring medical institution be shared with us to the extent possible, so that we can provide appropriate care.
After treatment, when necessary, we arrange a counter-referral to the patient's primary care physician (follow-up cooperation) to ensure continuity of care.

So You Can Receive Treatment with Peace of Mind

Rather than completing medical care on our own, we place great importance on a care system in which the entire community supports our patients and in which we closely respect the treatment policies of the referring physicians, so that patients can receive treatment with peace of mind.
