• You accept your current diagnosis and treatment plan, but would also like to hear the opinion of a physician other than your current doctor.

• You would like to know whether other treatment options are available, such as minimally invasive interventional radiology (IVR).
• You would like to redesign your treatment strategy, including cutting-edge cancer care, based on an accurate diagnosis by a specialist.
• You would like to know whether treatments such as RFA, catheter-based therapy, or perfusion therapy may be suitable for you.

Second opinion consultations are by appointment only and are provided as a self-pay service not covered by health insurance.
To allow thorough review and explanation, we place no time limit on our second opinion consultations. The fee is offered as a single package covering the entire process, from a careful review of your previous treatment records to the proposal of an appropriate treatment plan (including preparation of a report for your attending physician).

To provide appropriate advice, materials from your current attending physician (referral letter, test results, imaging data, etc.) are important. However, even if such materials are unavailable, we will accept your consultation to the extent possible. Our experienced specialists will analyze your medical information in detail and clearly explain a concrete treatment plan.

• A report summarizing the results of our review will be handed or mailed to the patient or their family.
• If you wish to have imaging performed at our clinic at the time of your second opinion, additional fees will apply, but we will accommodate your request as flexibly as possible.
• Please note in advance that, after confirming the wishes of the patient and their family, the content of the second opinion may also be shared with your current attending physician.
